Dhaulagiri Prabidhik Shikshya Pratisthan is the only one first PCL level technical college in Dhaulagiri zone affiliated by CTEVT, accredited by Nepal Health professional council and Nepal Nursing council. It was established in 2064B.S. with the initiation and great effort of social figures in Dhaulagiri zone. It is situated in Baglung municipality, which is administrative headquarter of Baglung District and Dhaulagiri Zone. A paved highway connects the municipality with Pokhara, 72 km to the east and Capital city Kathmandu 275 km east and also connects to Beni Bazar,Administrative headquarter of of Myagdi to the north and Kusma Bazar, Administrative headquarter of Parbat which are located near about 13 km to the north and 12 km to the south.
